JNCI Equips Kelina Hospitals, Lagos

Kelina Hospitals officially opened its Lagos branch on Thursday, 11th November 2022. The event which was held at the Victoria Island branch of the hospital featured several dignitaries from within and outside the health sector. The hospital building was commissioned by the Oniru of Iru, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal in the company of the Commissioner of Health for Lagos State; Professor Akin Abayomi and the Olu of Odosenlu-Alaro, Oba Adedotun Odusanya.

Kelina Hospitals commenced operations in Abuja in 2008 and is reputed for several groundbreaking surgical procedures in Nigeria particularly leveraging non-invasive techniques. Speaking at the event, Dr C. U Undie, Consultant Urologist at Kelina Hospital highlighted some of the medical feats that had been accomplished by the hospital in the past and the capabilities of the new Lagos branch.   

 

Upon commission, the guests at the event then took a guided tour of the theatre at the hospital which was set up by JNC International. Some of the medical equipment installed includes the Volista Ceiling Mounted Surgical Light with the Marquet Lyra Operating Table, Getinge Stericool Plasma Sterilizer, the Laparascopy amongst others.

In usual JNCI practice, adequate technical and professional support is also being provided to the staff at Kelina Hospital to ensure optimal use of this technology to continue providing quality healthcare services.
