JNC International Ltd (JNCI) received an Award in recognition of her valuable support for the activities of the Cancer Education and Advocacy Foundation of Nigeria – CEAFON towards improving the state of Cancer Care in Nigeria, at a presentation ceremony held at the JNCI Head office on Tuesday 24^th July, 2018.

According to the President of CEAFON, Prof. F.A. Durosinmi-Etti, the objective of the special recognition Award was to appreciate all stakeholders and thank them for their support over the years. 

Commenting on the Award, Mrs. Clare Omatseye, MD/CEO, JNC International Ltd, expressed her appreciation for the recognition and noted that JNCI will remain in the forefront in the battle against Cancer in Nigeria. She further admonished the Foundation to continue with advocacy for policies that will provide the platform to catalyze change and transform Oncology treatment in Nigeria.

Speaking further, she expressed support for the recent awareness program; an initiative tagged ‘Catch Them Young’ developed by CEAFON   to reach out to Secondary School students on basic Cancer screening such as Breast  examination  and the establishment of Cancer Clubs for  sensitization.

Prof. Durosinmi-Etti thanked Mrs. Omatseye and expressed his excitement with CEAFON’s continued partnership with JNC International.

CEAFON is a Non-governmental organization with a mission to ensure timely and optimal management of all Cancer patients in Nigeria such that Cancer is no longer a death sentence but a potentially curable disease.
